Another issue was the veterans undergoing independent assessments that would alter their results. When the evidence of PTSD has been shown, this intervention evaluation helps to provide statistic information for the growing issue. Most veterans need this information so they can know that they are not alone. The standardize testing is shown to give a guide to the social worker but it can not gather all of the information for the case. The non-standardize testing helps with gathering information but does not have a guide to go by to diagnosis the client. It would be hard to meet the criteria depending on which test is given to the client. As a social worker, gathering as much information would help benefit the case.
